“Everyone is traveling a different journey. Don’t discount another person’s journey as being less important than your own.” ~ Nikki Karis
Inspiring message about our respective life journeys …
Since the pandemic became official in March of 2020, and with the U.S. Presidential election occurring November 3, 2020, we have been witnessing a huge racial divide occurring across America. People of different races have literally taken up arms against each other, each claiming their respective journey is more important than that of their fellow Mankind.
There are several reasons why this has been happening. First and foremost, we have become grossly disconnected from God and, in turn, from each other, not realizing we are all connected via our miraculous Creator. This disconnection has occurred for many reasons, including the fact most people spend very little time working on their spiritual growth and development and instead, turn to material and external factors to fulfill them.
Most people also now largely communicate with each other via technology. And although technology can be beneficial by linking us together globally, it’s still not a substitute for healthy, interpersonal communication.
The result is that the less we interact with each other in person, face-to-face, the more we distance ourselves emotionally from each other. We then become less and less connected with each other on the spiritual plane. Given this disconnection, it then becomes harder for us to understand the importance of another person’s journey in the bigger picture of life.
Remember, no matter where someone lives in the world, their gender, race, religion, sexual preference, or the like, we are all one and the same. We have all been put here by the same Creator, and we remain connected to each other via this great Source.
And although our journeys may look physically or materially different on the outside, these differences ultimately create the beautiful, rich tapestry known as “life.” Therefore, it’s important to honor everyone’s journey as being an important and integral part of our 3D journey.
So take time today to interact with someone face-to-face. Get to know a total stranger, if you have the opportunity. After a few minutes of talking, the two of you will likely find that you have many things in common.
